Hot Protein-Packed Mocha Smoothie I love smoothies for breakfast, but the thought of drinking something cold on a winter’s morning is not appealing to me. So yesterday I created this! I hope you like it!
Place almond milk, hemp seeds, chia seeds, almond butter, cocoa powder, instant coffee, and agave nectar in a blender; blend until smooth. Pour into a small saucepan and heat, stirring frequently, over medium-low heat until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. Pour into a mug.Advertisement
Per Serving: 316 calories; protein 9g; carbohydrates 27.4g; fat 20.4g; sodium 313.9mg. I think this would also be great using an espresso shot instead of the coffee granules.
